Kink.com, Utherverse in VR Deal

SAN FRANCISCO — Kink.com today said it has inked a deal with Utherverse Digital Inc. to expand the reach of the studio’s virtual reality content line.

As part of the agreement, Kink will continue to produce new VR BDSM and fetish scenes multiple times each month at KinkVR.com.

But in addition to the homegrown audience, the content will also be featured in Utherverse’s HoloGirlsVR.com and BurningAngelVR.com.

“We began building out our VR division in late 2015, as an experiment,” said Matt Slusarenko, director of marketing for Kink.com. “Reaction among our existing users was tremendous, but we wanted to make sure we were reaching the full market for VR, so we began talking with Utherverse about accessing their audience as well.

“With the additional eyeballs, this allows us to increase our production.”

Brian Shuster, CEO of Utherverse Digital, said that his company’s partnership with adult studios such as Kink.com is a major expansion of the VR portal network that Utherverse has been developing over the past year.

"When a production studio joins our network, we give them extensive training and VR equipment that is the absolute best in the world, and we also provide postproduction services and the full suite of membership web site tools, billing and support and even advanced affiliate program and marketing expertise for their benefit,” Shuster said.

Utherverse’s VR camera system captures each individual scene, shot anywhere between 220-360 degrees in 3D with binaural sound and proprietary “NoSick” anti-motion sickness technology.

Anna Lee, president and executive producer of Utherverse Digital, said: "We could not be more pleased to work with Kink.com to bring their unique brand of content to virtual reality to fans around the world.”

As part of the partnership, members of Utherverse sites like HoloGirlsVR will be offered special promotional rates for KinkVR.com.

Looking ahead, Utherverse hopes to offer a unified membership for most or all Utherverse VR sites.

Affiliates can promote KinkVR.com by going to HoloCashVR.com.
